The object of the charity is, in the interests of social welfare, to improve the conditions of life of the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions by the provision and maintenance of the Village Hall and Playing Field.

The charity is managed by a committee, the current members of which are as follows: –

The committee meets several times each year.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in the spring of each year. Public notice of the meeting must be given at least 14 days before the meeting.

At the AGM the report and accounts for the last financial year are presented. The term of office for all members of the committee ends at the end of the AGM following the date on which they came into office. They may be re-elected or re-appointed. All inhabitants of the area of benefit of 18 years and upward must be allowed to attend and vote.
